Mei Xianzhi

Chairman, Non-Executive Director
Mr. Mei Xianzhi, is a senior engineer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marine power plant from the School of Thermal Energy and Power Engineering of Wuhan University of Technology and a master’s degree in management science and engineering from Zhejiang University. He was appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company on 6 June 2022. He is also the deputy general manager of China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd. (“China Merchants Industry”), a controlling shareholder of the Company. From July 2002 to November 2011, Mr. Mei served as a technician, supervisor, ship repairing manager and deputy manager of the engineering department of Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) Limited; he successively served as the project manager, manager of production management department and assistant to the general manager of China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. from November 2011 to February 2015; he served as the deputy general manager of China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.* (招商局重工(江蘇)有限公司) from February 2015 to May 2018; the leader of the cruise construction preparatory team of China Merchants Industry from May to October 2018; the general manager of China Merchants Cruise Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.* (招商局郵輪 製造有限公司) from October 2018 to October 2019; the general manager of China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.(招商局重工(江蘇)有限公司) and China Merchants Cruise Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.*(招商局郵輪製造有限公司) from October 2019 to February 2020; the assistant to the general manager of China Merchants Industry and the general manager of both China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.* (招商局重工(江蘇)有限公司) and China Merchants Cruise Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.* (招商局郵輪製造有限公司) from February 2020 to December 2021. Mr. Mei served as the assistant to the general manager of China Merchants Industry from January 2022 to June 2022. Mr. Mei has been the deputy general manager of China Merchants Industry since June 2022 to date. Mr. Mei has many years of experience in the manufacturing and management of superlarge vessels and core equipment for green environmental protection, which will help the Ccompany in its transformation and development of expanding green energy technology businesses such as offshore wind power and hydrogen energy.

Zhan Huafeng

Executive Director
Mr. Zhan Huafeng,holds a master’s degree in naval architecture and marine engineering from Wuhan University of Technology. He was appointed as a Executive Director and Executive President of the Company on 29 August 2023. He served at China Merchants Industry successively from 2018 to 2022 with his last position as office director. Mr. Zhan worked at China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.* (招商 局重工(江蘇)有限公司) and China Merchants Cruise Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.* (招商局郵輪製造 有限公司) successively from 2013 to 2019 with his last position as director of human resources department; and at Yiu Lian Dockyards Limited* (友聯船廠(蛇口)有限公司) as assistant to the manager of the human resources department, and at Yiu Lian Dockyards Limited* (友聯船廠 有限公司) as the executive deputy general manager successively from 2008 until Mr. Zhan has been re-designated as an executive Director.

Liu Jiancheng

Non-Executive Director
Mr. Liu Jiancheng is a senior engineer and currently serves as the general manager of the science and technology development department of China Merchants Industry Holdings Limited. He served as a technician of Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd. from 2000 to 2001 and an engineer of Singapore Keppel FELS from 2001 to 2006. He successively served as the technical supervisor, design manager and deputy chief engineer of China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. from 2006 to 2013, and the deputy chief engineer and chief engineer of China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. from 2013 to 2017. Mr. Liu served as the deputy general manager of China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) Limited from 2018 to 2019 and the general manager of China Merchants Offshore Technology Research Center from 2019 to 2021. Mr. Liu obtained a master’s degree in ships and offshore engineering from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology in 2018 and a bachelor’s degree in shipbuilding engineering from East China Shipbuilding Institute in 2000.

Tam Wing Tim

Non-Executive Director
Mr. Tam Wing Tim was appointed as a non-executive Director, Vice President, and Chief Compliance officer of our company on August 29, 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). From October 1997 to July 2000, Mr. Tam worked as a clerk in the credit department and the remittance department of United Chinese Bank. From August 2000 to July 2001, Mr. Tam was a clerk in the remittance department of the Bank of East Asia. From August 2000 to December 2023, Mr. Tam has held various positions at China Merchants Industry Group, including Deputy General Manager of the Finance Department (with full departmental treatment), Assistant to the General Manager of the Finance Department, Business Manager of the Finance Department, Director of the Finance Department, Deputy Director of the Finance Department, and concurrently served as a director and chief financial officer of Yiu Lian Dockyards Limited.

Zhang Xizheng

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Zhang Xizheng, holds a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Beijing Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Applied Economics from Hong Kong Baptist University. He is a senior trust manager of the shipping investment management headquarters of China Minsheng Trust Co., Ltd.. Mr. Zhang was a data analyst of the credit insurance department of Asia-Pacific Property and Casualty Issuance Co., Ltd. (“Asia-Pacific Property and Casualty Issuance”) from September 2019 to May 2021, was a manager of the claims division of the credit insurance department of Asia-Pacific Property and Casualty Issuance from May 2021 to March 2022 and has been a senior trust manager of the shipping investment management headquarters of China Minsheng Trust Co., Ltd. since March 2022.

Zhang Menggui,Morgan

Non-Executive Director
Mr. Zhang Menggui, Morgan is the Co-founder of the company. He obtained his bachelor’s degree majoring in drilling engineering from the China University of Petroleum (中國石油大學) in 1982 and acquired his master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of AlaskaFairbanks in the U.S.A. in 1989 and he received an executive master’s in business administration (“EMBA”) from China Europe International Business School in 2012. He has 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to founding the Group, he worked for a subsidiary of the group of China National Petroleum Corporation in China and for Cook Inlet Region Inc. in Alaska. He currently is a member of several oil industry associations and professional organizations including the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Drilling Engineers.

Zou Zhendong

Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr. Zou Zhendong, has been appointed an independent non-executive Director since May 2018. He is also serving as the independent director of Bestsun Energy Co. Ltd., an A share company listed in the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the senior partner of Sinowing Law LLP, Legal Representative of Sinowing (Beijing) AMC Co., Ltd., and further and concurrently as a member of the High-tech and E-Commerce Committee & International Business Committee of All China Lawyers Association. Mr. Zou used to work as the officer for the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, as the staff for China Native Produce & Animal By-Products Import & Export Corp., as the director of the 4th Department for China Commercial Foreign Trade Corporation, and as the partner in charge of international business department and IPR department for Beijing Dacheng Law Firm (aka Dentons for the moment). Mr. Zou was awarded a Bachelor Degree by the Renmin University of China in 1992, with major in international politics and minor in international economics. As being jointly elected by the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China and Lord Chancellor’s Office of the United Kingdom, Mr. Zou has worked and trained himself in London.

Zhang Zhen

Independent Non-Executive Director

Ms. Zhang is an associate researcher and a doctoral candidate in industrial economics at the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She holds a master's degree in business administration from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a master's degree in global environmental management and sustainable development from Hong Kong Metropolitan University. She was appointed as an independent non-executive Director of the Company on 22 March 2024. She currently serves as the executive dean of China EV100 Low Carbon Integrated Development Institute and the dean of Shangdong Institute of Hydrogen Energy Technology. She successively served as a marketing manager and strategy director of Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd. from 2002 to 2007; successively served as a project director and partner of He Jun Group Limited (和君集团有限公司) from 2008 to 2013; served as the director of capital operations department of CITIC Medical & Health Group Co., Ltd. from 2013 to 2015; served as the chief investment officer of Yinji Entertainment and Media Co., Ltd. (印纪娱乐传媒股份有限公司), a listed company, from 2016 to 2018; served as the executive dean of China EV100 Low Carbon Integrated Development Institute and the dean of Shangdong Institute of Hydrogen Energy Technology since 2019 to date.

Xue Jianzhong

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr. Xue, graduated from Henan Radio and Television University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the PRC, Certified Tax Agent in the PRC and an auditor in the PRC. He was appointed as an independent non-executive Director of the Company on 22 March 2024. He currently serves as a partner and director of Shenzhen Great Wall Certified Public Accountants Co., Ltd., and a member of the 7th Council of the Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants, director of Shenzhen Yongdao Taxation Firm Co., Ltd. and an executive director and general manager of Shenzhen Zhenzhong Industrial Development Co., Ltd. From 1983 to 1984, he served as an auditor at the Tanghe County Taxation Bureau in Henan Province; from 1985 to 1994, he successively served as an auditor and a deputy section chief in the Tanghe County Taxation Bureau, and a director of Tanghe County Audit Firm in Henan Province; from 1994 to 2005, he served as a partner and director of Shenzhen Yongming Accounting Firm; since 2005, he has been working as a partner at Shenzhen Great Wall Certified Public Accountants Co., Ltd. and director (including working as the chairman and general manager from 2011 to 2022); since 2003, he has served as an executive director and general manager of Shenzhen Zhenzhong Industrial Development Co., Ltd; since 2007, he has served as a director of Shenzhen Yongdao Taxation Firm Co., Ltd.; from 2014 to 2017, he served as the chairman and general manager of Shenzhen Guohua Investment Management Co., Ltd; from 2015 to 2017, he served as an executive director and general manager of Shenzhen Guohua Commercial Factoring Co., Ltd. In addition, Mr. Xue has been an independent director of Shenzhen LAY-OUT Planning Consultants Co., Ltd. (深圳市蕾奥规划设计咨询股份有限公司 , a company listed on the ChiNext Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, stock code: 300989) since 2019 and an independent director of Shenzhen Chuangyitong Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市创益通技术股份有限公司, a company listed on the ChiNext Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, stock code: 300991) since 2021.

Wang Yong

Vice President

Mr. Wang Yong is responsible for the operation of the Company's Energy Asset Management Services Division. He joined the Company in April 2012 as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, he was the general manager of Weatherford International China. During the past 17 years at Weatherford International, he has held various management positions, including Global Business Integration Manager and Business Development Manager. He started his career in the petroleum industry after graduating from China University of Petroleum in 1982 as a drilling engineer for China National Petroleum Corporation. He also taught drilling engineering courses at China University of Petroleum for five years before obtaining his first master's degree in petroleum engineering from Lewis Anna State University in the United States in 1993. He also obtained an EMBA from China Europe International Business School in the PRC.

Tam Wing Tim

Vice President
Mr. Tam Wing Tim was appointed as a non-executive Director, Vice President, and Chief Compliance officer of our company on August 29, 2023. Xie Shaohua

CFO
Mr. Xie Shaohua is responsible for the financial management of the Company. He graduated from the Central University of Finance and Economics in 1993 and obtained a master's degree from the University of International Business and Economics in 2003 and the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2005. Mr. Xie is a senior accountant in the PRC. In 2016, he was awarded the National Accounting Leadership Certificate by the Ministry of Finance. From November 1998 to October 2002, he worked in the finance department of Sinotrans & Changhang Group Corporation. From November 2002 to May 2007, he served as the deputy general manager of the finance department of Sinotrans Co., Ltd. (H shares, stock code: 00598). From September 2007 to June 2018, he was appointed as the deputy general manager and chief financial officer of Sinotrans Shipping Company Limited (red chip, stock code: 00368).

Chen Yunqiang

Vice President
Mr. Chen Yunqiang is responsible for the operation of the company's energy equipment division. From 2005 to the present, he is the chief executive officer of TSC (China) and has been appointed as the vice president of the Company since 15 February 15, 2020. Mr. Chen studied industrial enterprise management at Hangzhou Dianzi University. Mr. Chen joined the Group in August 2001 and served as the general manager of HHCT, a subsidiary of the Group in Xi'an, the PRC until 2005. Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Chen worked in Xi'an Petroleum Exploration Instrument General Factory for 14 years in various positions, including assistant plant supervisor, electric production line supervisor and manager of his sales branch in drilling rigs.

Huai Zengmin

Vice President
Mr. Huai Zengmin is responsible for the operation of the company's green energy divisiontechnology development business unit, and has been appointed as the vice president of the Company since 30 November  30, 2021, and the chief executive officer of Huashang Hydrogen Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Ccompany, responsible for the company's hydrogen-related business. Mr. Huai graduated from Tianjin Polytechnic University with a master's degree in business management in 2000. Mr. Huai is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). Mr. Huai joined the Company in December 2009 and has successively served as the assistant CEO of the Group, the deputy general manager of China, the general manager of Venezuela and the general manager of the operation management department of the Group. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Huai worked in the oil and gas and offshore engineering industry for 24 years, successively holding various positions in technology and sales at CSSC Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Dewei and Kefude Electromechanical Company.
